My philosophy has always been, what emotions we don’t allow ourselves to fully feel, release and heal from, must be stored somewhere.
CASE STUDY
When speaking to a client…
…who had severe pain in her wrist and arm and could no longer straighten it the full way. I asked her to put all of her focus and attention to that area. I then asked her, if there were an emotion sitting there, what would it be? She burst into tears. She replied “there is something that happened to me when I was alot younger that I’ve always had trouble letting go of”
Ironically her arm, bent in an L shape, looked like she was holding onto something.
Immediately after sharing her story and expressing her emotions, her pain dropped significantly.
When we push down our emotions, they have to be stored somewhere. Our body.
Why am I experiencing pain?
There can be many contributions to our pain. Some pain is acute, meaning, we have only had it for less than 12 weeks. Often caused by injuries. And often it’s only a matter of time, and our body is in the process of healing itself. We can just help speed up that process by resting, icing, etc.
Then, there is chronic pain. This is more common, and is when we have been experiencing the pain for longer than 12 weeks. Often there’s a reason our body isn’t allowing ourselves to fully heal from it. There are often changes we need to make in our lifestyle and most likely emotional blockages that need releasing.
We haven’t allowed ourselves to fully feel and release emotions from the past.

I am a Remedial Massage Therapist and a Master Practitioner in NLP Life Coaching. I first started my passionate health journey back in 2016 and since have learnt such incredible things and met wonderful people.
When taking the approach to achieving optimal health with my clients I like to look at the body and mind as a whole. Relieving both physical and mental pain and decreasing stress. I strive to give my clients the tools and ability to also be their own healers, as good health starts with you.
I since have gone on to grow and create our beautiful clinic Blissana, to spread the health and goodness far and wide. Having the chance for my passion to come alive and giving others the chance to live out their passions has been a dream come true.

She offers a variety of techniques and modalities, including; Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Swedish (Relaxation) Massage, Reflexology, and Lymphatic Drainage. And is working towards her qualifications in dry needling and advanced sports massage.
Believing strongly in the importance of being in touch with one’s wellness and dedicating time to self-care, Sophie views massage as a powerful tool for achieving balance in the body. She prides herself on her ability to connect with clients, build strong professional relationships, and ensure their comfort during every session. With her bubbly personality and dedication to client care, Sophie is committed to helping others move more freely an feel better overall.
